It happens April 4 mainly at Zingerman’s Cornman Farms in Dexter. The retreat brings foodies together for a day of learning, making connections, and joyous nourishment. It is designed for people with a passion for food who may seek to take that passion further – such as starting a food-related business or blog, making better meals for the family, or simply learning to bake.

Looking to work on a food blog or start a food truck but can’t find the time to start planning? On April 4, the Pause.On.Purpose. (P.O.P) Retreat at Zingerman’s Cornman Farms will bring foodies together for a purpose.
Hosted by the Reflection Institute, the day-long retreat will connect food enthusiasts and assist them with their food-related projects.
Foodie Retreat: Pausing and Reflecting
Organizers describe the event as a “fun-filled foodie day.” The retreat will focus on how to take creative ideas to the next level, whether its baking for a family or starting a food business.
“It’s a day with purpose, but also to network,” said Jenny Bouchier-Hayes, organizer and co-founder of the Reflection Institute blog, focused on food and fulfillment. “For me, food is the ingredient that binds us together.”
