Vision Board Workshop

Come and join us for our next Reflection Institute Event. Jenny and I were inspired to create Vision Boards of our own after attending an event last year with Dr. Sam Collins. We've decided to host our own Vision Boarding workshop to give others an opportunity to reflect and create their own vision of the future.

In everything we do in life, there is a why. And knowing why we do what we do is important. Each of us strives to live with intention. With purpose. With vision… To spend some time honing your unique vision, join us for the Reflection Institute’s Vision Board Workshop on June 22 from 7.00 to 9.00 pm at the Barrington Area Library.

What is a Vision Board? A Vision Board is a tool used to help clarify, concentrate, and maintain focus on a specific life goal. A Vision Board is any board on which you display images that represent whatever you want to be, do, or have in your life.

All you need to do is come ready to start carving out a vision for your future and what is important to you! We’ll do the rest. We’ll have magazines, scissors, poster board, glue, treats, tools to jumpstart your thinking and much more!

We are also proud to announce that local photographer, Susan McConnell, will share her unique visioning process and how her journey has inspired her to start a non-profit, an idea born from the desire to work on a project bigger than herself and one that could change the lives of so many.

Our goal for the evening is that you leave with a finished or almost finished final product that you can post somewhere in your home or office (on a wall, in a closet, wherever you will see it daily), so you can appreciate your remarkable creativity and your unique vision for YOUR future.

We all deserve to live our lives to the fullest and Vision Board'ing is a small, but powerful step, in that direction.
